07/2021A stunning view into the forest makes this house a great place to relax and feel like you're getting away from it all. The house is super comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone in the group to spread out and do their thing, or come together around the fire or the big dining table for a meal. The location gives easy access into town, and is especially good for building your walking fitness up those steep Lorne hills! We recommend walking up to Queen's Park and exploring the various walks there - don't miss the fabulous panoramic views at Teddy's lookout.

12/2021Absolutely loved our stay here. You are away from the busyness of lorne main strip but still close enough to everything, you feel so relaxed looking out the big windows over all the trees. We had beautiful visitors from king parrots and kookaburras. Played scrabble and connect 4 by the fire at night time.

02/2023The main feature is the large windows framing lovely views of the tall gum trees. We didn't spot any koalas, but there were lots of cockatoos, king parrots, and kookaburras. It's definitely a home designed for relaxing. Not far from the main shopping strip, but walking would only be suggested for the energetic as the hill is quite steep. Can recommend and would stay again

03/2023Absolutely stunning retreat in the trees behind Lorne. So close to everything but somehow completely private. The conservatory at the back was my favourite room, but the vast view of the Otway's and beautiful bird life from the dining table was mesmerising as well. The hosts were great and offered late check out without us initiating which was absolutely amazing. We love this place and will be back with our two children very soon.

05/2023"Beautiful home around surroundings. A lovely place to stay with friends - lots of space and living areas. Plenty of firewood so we enjoyed a lot of time sitting by the fire with a glass of wine enjoying the view and have a lovely time.
