A beautiful house with a unique style creating an open and nice vibe for our stay. The location was superb as it was close to both the pier and the main strip of shops. The host was accommodating and gave clear instructions on operation of utilities. Our only concern with our stay was the cleanliness of the kitchen and bbq. Dishes and cutlery were dirty and the bbq seemed to barely have been cleaned. Although the minor inconvenience, the bedrooms were superb. Usually the mattresses can be quite uncomfortable on a holiday, however this house provided great comfortable beds to sleep on. Definitely would consider staying in this house again. Thank you!

Thank you Karen for the perfect family getaway. What a great house for adults and kids to enjoy each others company and also to retreat to their own areas for some quiet time. The teenagers LOVED the attic room and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean views and beautiful native birds from the deck. The kitchen was fully equipped to bunker down and cook at home rather than brave the covid crowds. The location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or driving along the GOR discovering new beaches. We loved it!

Hosted family friends from New Zealand here, what a great location. The deck was the highlight, quiet beers with Kookaburras, Cockatoos and Honeyeaters. The living area and kitchen are well laid out and the fireplace is a nice touch. Fantastic, we'll be back again.

The house was very well appointed and spacious. It easily coped with 4 adults and 4 children with lots of grassy areas for kids play. The location was very good for walking into town and the main beach. It had fantastic views of the bay from the large deck. We’d love to come back again!

Such a great house! Only a very short walk into town, beautiful views from the deck, and plenty of space for multiple couples / friends / a large family to stay. I stayed with my two adult siblings, our partners and my parents, and it worked well. The kitchen was a great size for cooking for everyone. The open fire was a beautiful bonus and perfect even in February on Lorne’s cooler nights. Would definitely stay again!

"My family and I decided to head down to Lorne for a peaceful and relaxing time and that’s exactly what we got! The house was the perfect getaway, it was homey, warm and exactly what you want. Our communication was easy and helpful, we were offered both early check in and late check out for free! This made it much easier when checking out as we were able to have a sleep in and have a cruisy morning. The location was perfect, it was private in a quiet street with beautiful water views. A 2 minute drive to the main strip or an easy 15 minute walk the choice is yours. We definitely recommend staying here and I dare say we will be back! 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

The house, aptly named Salt Air, is a true gem. Returning to this charming Airbnb house in Lorne has been an absolute delight. It consistently surpasses our expectations. The house's size is ideally suited for hosting international guests or the family, and the selection of furnishings and amenities ensures a comfortable and convenient stay. What truly distinguishes this Airbnb is the flawless and supportive communication with the owners. Oh, and the views. We do not doubt that we'll be returning to this exceptional Airbnb in the future. We adored our time at Salt Air - the perfect spot for a girls' weekend. Ideally located in amongst the birds and bush and beautiful views, but just a 10 min walk through back streets to the town centre. Great amenities, and we especially appreciated the early check in and late check out, given it was a special occasion. Highly recommend!

For an intergenerational family holiday it was a fun well fitted out holiday house; alhough compact living area, it had very large back yard with trampoline and beautiful views from expansive front deck. With three lots of stairs in the house, with six watchful sets of eyes, our two year old grandchild learnt to climb up the stairs...and was learning to come down, I'm sure he would have mastered this, if we were there longer! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It’s a great and large house with a really nice backyard. The kids room under the roof is definitely a great idea and our children loved having their own floor. The open living room is amazing, especially with the fireplace on. Communication and check in was super easy.. so we will definitely book again when in the area.

This property is in a great location in Lorne. It feels like you are out of the rat race but you are close enough to still make the easy walk in to town. The property is great for families of five where every kid has a friend my teens especially loved the upstairs room for the teen retreat. If you had elderly grandparents they may find the stairs a little tricky if they are unsteady on their feet. We also loved the fire pit and the view is terrific.
