The Summer season is upon us! We look forward to warm days down at the beach, afternoon ice creams or happy hour and evening BBQ's with family and friends! As the weather warms up the risk of bush fires unfortunately increases. Lorne, along with many parts of Victoria is in a high risk fire area and it's important for our guests to be informed and prepared in the event of a fire in the area. 

We encourage all our guests to visit the CFA website www.cfa.vic.gov.au prior to your holiday to Lorne along with downloading the Vic emergency App to your mobile device to gain as much information as you can. 

In the event of a fire, we may not be contactable so it is important that you have done your own research with information provided and have made your own plans on what to do.

Our cancellation policy is amended during both Extreme and Code Red days for Lorne.  If either an Extreme or Code Red day is forecast for Lorne you have the option to contact us the day before by 6pm if you wish to leave and we will give you a credit note for that nights accommodation. You can return to the property (within the original booking dates) once the rating has gone lower than Extreme and continue your holiday. The credit will only be given for an Extreme or Code Red day that you leave.
