The Original Yellow Shack!

Experience the perfect blend of Lorne's coastal charm and contemporary comfort in this beautifully reimagined beach house. Just a short stroll from Lorne's vibrant main street and the beach, it's the perfect base for relaxed seaside escapes with family and friends.

The 'original yellow shack' was one of Lorne's beach shacks in the 1920s. The home has been thoughtfully recreated to preserve its character while offering all the comforts of modern holiday living. Still held by the same family, it reflects a long connection to Lorne and its laid-back beachside lifestyle.

Designed to comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests, the home features four bedrooms, all located downstairs, along with two bathrooms and an additional powder room.

Upstairs is the heart of the home, where the light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living area captures beautiful ocean views. Large glass doors open onto a spacious deck, creating the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening barbecue while taking in the sea breeze.

With its family-friendly layout, generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, and unbeatable location within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, shops and the beach, you'll have everything you need for a memorable Lorne getaway. An undercover carport is provided for one vehicle, with additional parking available in the driveway and kerbside.

Whether you're visiting for a summer beach holiday, a long weekend on the coast, or simply a chance to unwind, we hope you'll feel right at home.
