This striking three-level retreat sits among towering gums along the Erskine River, with private access to a scenic walking track. Within just five minutes, you can wander to cafés, boutiques, the supermarket, or the beach. Head in the opposite direction and you’ll reach the river rapids in minutes—or for the adventurous, continue 7km along the track to the spectacular Erskine Falls.
Designed with an Alpine lodge feel, the home is framed by calming views of native bushland from every window, creating an instant sense of peace and escape.
Perfect for entertaining, the open-plan living zone features a 10-seater dining table and a chef’s kitchen that invites shared meals and special moments. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge and oven, coffee machine and grinder, ample storage, and every utensil you’ll need to cook up a feast.
The spacious U-shaped lounge is made for relaxation—watch the weekend footy, enjoy a movie by the fireplace, or unwind with music on the Sonos surround system.
With five bedrooms, Manna Gum comfortably hosts up to 10 guests:

10/2026We were a group of ten and had a great stay here! The open lounge space and wrap around balcony were perfect for relaxing. The place felt in nature with birds coming up to say hello. Easy stroll to the Foodworks or main street. Would love to stay here again.

The couch was generous and we had a great time chilling and connecting.
The location is incredible to wander into town or up the river.

02/2026Anna was very helpful, prompt reply to any questions. The house is in a great location, breakfast amongst the trees, quiet but a short walk to everything you may need. Groceries, coffee, Ipsos for dinner(Highly recommended!!). The house has been refurbished,2 downstairs bathrooms and 4 bedrooms all look fresh. Upstairs living/ kitchen have all amenities including a great coffee machine. The mezzanine bedroom is fairly original. We stayed with 3 older children and didn’t feel crowded at all. The walk up the Erskine Falls track is well worth the time, very peaceful!!. Overall a wonderful place to stay!.

03/2026Great place to stay, especially for a large group. Beautiful cabin like vibe, kitchen is super spacious, with more than enough amenities. Huge fridge, great coffee machine (with coffee included in the stay!) , lots of cupboard space for if you were staying a while. Bathrooms were clean, each room had a heater as it can get cold overnight. Was a fantastic stay, the only issue we had was limited parking available at the property, but can’t help that. Would reccommend and stay again!

03/2026We stayed here over the long weekend in March and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm and welcoming. It had everything you could need in a holiday house and was exactly as described in the listing and photos. Located in a beautiful part of Lorne near the Erskine River, the property was peaceful and away from the busy main roads and shops, yet still close enough to walk into town with ease. The house is spacious and ideal for larger groups. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again in the future.

07/2026Fantastic property - Clean and spacious. Absolutely beautiful surroundings amongst the trees but also very close to the beach. House was nice and warm for the Winter with the fireplace and a portable heater in each room. Only took about 15 minutes walk to the Main Street and a couple of minutes drive.
