convenience. Nestled in a beautiful bush setting, it feels wonderfully private,
yet is only moments from the town centre.
Perfectly suited to couples or small families, where PETS are welcome to join
the getaway.
Set beside the Erskine River, the property has its own
private walking track, a “flat” 5-minute walk straight into town. Guests can
enjoy a leisurely stroll along Erskine River, which leads directly to the
supermarket or Riverbank Café for that early morning coffee, both just 400m
away—or continue less than 1km further to reach the heart of town and the
beach.
Head in the opposite direction along the track, and you’ll
arrive at the stunning Erskine Rapids within minutes. For those who love a
longer adventure, the trail extends all the way to the iconic Erskine Falls,
about 7km away.
The Space:
This is a stylish and welcoming two-bedroom holiday home. Each bedroom opens to
a private retreat, complete with a cosy couch and smart TV, ideal for quiet
moments of relaxation. The main living space features a modern kitchen, a
sunken lounge, TV and fireplace, and a light-filled dining area that flows out
onto a spacious deck. A newly added
outdoor lounge area makes the perfect spot for evening barbecues with family
and friends.
All 3 Televisions are smart TVs, with google TV, allowing
for you to access all the streaming apps, via excellent WIFI, including
Netflix, Kayo, Paramount, Prime and more. (Bring your own code) However, Foxtel
including Foxtel sports is included
On warm evening you can turn on the fairy lights and enjoy a magical dinner out
on the deck, while enjoying the sounds of the river and native birds.

*Please note, wood and kindling for the fireplace is be provided all year round. ALSO a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival.
** Driveway to front door is very steep and not able to be used. Parking is off
street at the top of the driveway and guests must walk down slope or stairs (20
metres) to get to the house. Please call us if you require further
clarification.

03/2026We had a great stay, the location was perfect, within walking distance of shops and dining and good space for a small family. The two bedrooms and two baths were perfect. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near town, but feel like you’re further out.

The only issues we had were quite a few spiders and insects inside and missing some things in the kitchen like salt but these were minor in comparison to the other benefits.'

The location is excellent with an access track to the Erskine River walking track, with access through the caravan park the walk to the supermarket and main street was very convenient. Beautiful house with plenty of living spaces, very relaxing and comfortable.

03/2020This was a lovely house with a pleasant ambience and was well equipped with everything you need, even games and books for the children. The amenities were all good quality, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the two bathrooms were very handy. The location was fabulous, just a short walk down the private zig zag track at the rear of the property takes you through to a pretty shaded clearing by the river, left at the clearing takes you on a nice walk up to the rapids or right and another short stroll brings you out near the supermarket and the swing bridge or stroll a bit further to the bakery or Happy Hour at Mantra !! The deck off the meals area was very peaceful with little wrens visiting in the morning and the lights in the trees at night gave the walking track down to the river a magical fairy-land feel. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Lorne.

05/2023Such a great location! Quiet and away from the main road but a short walk along the river to the cafes, shops etc. hosts very kindly turned the heaters on for our arrival and the house had a fire to keep us warm & cosy. Perfect stay for 2 x couples. Would definitely go back!
