We stayed at Saltwater for a girls weekend in Lorne. The place was sparkling clean, warm and inviting and loved seeing the ocean so close from large windows in each room. It was lovely, although winter to easily access the beach and go for the short walk into town along the water. At night we lit the fire and played the large selection of board games. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the spectacular views from this home. And the house was well appointed and really well managed with fast communication. The rocky beach across the road is perfect for exploring with young kids like ours. And Lorne is great for restaurants and an awesome surf beach. This home is smaller than we imagined, with one living area and just the tall kitchen bench-style table for dining indoors. There's two tables outside to make the most of the beautiful view. So I'd recommend it for one family, rather than two, or two couples. My whole family really enjoyed their stay and the amazing shower!

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed sitting by the fire and looking out over the fantastic views. It was a perfect location for us and I would stay here again. This Lorne property was a delight to stay in! The views were spectacular! The large balcony provided an extra room to use whether it was for breakfast, school homework or simply chilling and enjoying the view. The kitchen was well equipped. I enjoyed bedding down listening to the sea as I slipped into sleep.

"Our Airbnb stay was a delightful experience! The location was peaceful, and the private open-air parking added convenience. The house was clean and the living room warm, even in winter. The two electrical heaters, including a wall-mounted unit and an air conditioner, provided comfort. The manual wood-burning heater was a unique touch. The amenities exceeded expectations, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. 5 mins walk to the beach, 5-8 mins drive to nearest supermarket/ eateries. Highly recommend for a memorable and cozy retreat! Just 1 thing to note, there's a flight of approx 16-20 steps up the house from the carpark. My luggage was quite heavy, thus it was quite a bit of work. But well worth it!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The beachfront view was magnificent! The location was also excellent - it had easy access to the beach and was within walking distance to the main town. The house itself was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed from soap to wifi. Lorne Holiday Stays were very responsive. We were generously given a later checkout time which was very appreciated. I highly recommend staying here and would do so myself again.

Great place. The location is just off the GOR on the outskirts of Lorne. The view and sound is of an absolute beach front....all you can see and hear is the sea. Everything was as per the description and the photos. Private beach a short walk away and lovely walk into town along the beach. Great for families of all ages and flexible accomodation. Owners provided high chair and cot which was great aswell as the toy chest! Highly recommended.

A quiet and comfortable home just a short drive from Lorne town centre. Three good sized bedrooms. Two with views of the water. The beds were so comfortable that we all want to know what brand they are! We could watch the moon and the sun move across the sky from the comfort of the lounge suite. Saltwater at Lorne looked exactly like the photos if not better. It was clean and well organized with everything you could need in the kitchen. Bedrooms and bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed. Firewood was provided and appreciated. Two members of our group were running the Great Ocean Road marathon and it was so thoughtful of our hosts to provide race info, bananas and Gatorade. Thank you Karen and Bianca.

What a beautiful little house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was beautifully furnished, super clean and bright with a fabulous view. Was a walkable distance to town however too far for our young kids. Lorne holiday stays were easy and helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend Saltwater we will definately be back!

Saltwater was a great place for our family trip down Great Ocean Road. The view is spectacular and it's a great location. Our boys loved the toy cabinet and that helped save some packing space. Wonderful spot! If you've got kids this is a good spot - and the Lorne Hotel is a great place to take them for dinner too.
