Tucked away in a quiet
street in North Lorne, just one block from the beach, this home offers both
peace and convenience. A paved pathway at the corner of Dorman and Duncan
Street—only 200 metres from the house—takes you directly to the sand. In just
five minutes you’ll be dipping your toes in the water. Lorne’s supermarket,
cafes, and boutiques are only a short drive away or an easy 25-minute stroll
along the beach.
Inside, the spacious
open-plan living and dining area is filled with light and showcases those
spectacular views. The neat, well-equipped kitchen makes meals a breeze, while
two outdoor seating areas allow you to follow the sun throughout the day.
There is a split system
for heating/cooling and a gas log fire for extra warmth in Winter.
The home is well set up
for families or small groups, with a bathroom (including bathtub) on the upper
level, plus an additional toilet and shower downstairs.

07/2025A neat and tidy home with spectacular wall-to-wall ocean views. The beds were comfortable, with fresh linen and towels provided, and the house stayed beautifully warm during our winter stay (hot tip: the front panel of the gas fireplace flips down to reveal the controls!). Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a meal, plus thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, milk, and oil to get you started. The second bathroom and shower downstairs were a real bonus during the morning rush, and the whole space felt both calm and welcoming—perfect for a relaxing weekend. We especially loved watching the visiting cockatoos and kangaroos. The host was incredibly responsive and we really appreciated the generous offer of early check-in and late check-out. Off-street parking for two cars was a bonus. We’d happily stay again.

06/2025Upon opening the door, you are treated to a stunning view through the house. As you descend the stairs, the panoramic views just continue to open as the calming waves crash on the beach. It was truly a lovely stay. Excellent host communication, views, amenities, balcony, and location. Would HIGHLY recommend to people travelling to Lorne.

06/2025Great house with spectacular view!! There’s toys for children and the host was nice to send the cot over for my baby. Kitchen has a sufficient utensils for us to use and cook. There’s Apple TV.. long dining table for all of us to sit. Love the house!!

02/2024We had a lovely stay in Lorne. The views from the property are spectacular and Lorne is such a lovely little beach side town. We had 6 people stay, 4 adults and 2 children under 5. There were some toys at the property which helped keep the kids entertained. We BBQ’d each night which really convenient for us.

09/2024The ocean lookout from the hall is spectacular! Exactly as how the photos show. The kids love the spacious area, toys to keep them occupied (it rained when we were there so we stayed indoors a fair bit). A kangaroo visited us in the morning and let’s nit forget the cockatoos…Kitchen fully equipped and everything else was great! Just a little pricey but worth it!
